STOURBRIDGE based Frederick Hubble will be one of several leading art students who will be showcasing their work at the iconic Selfridges store in Birmingham this weekend.

Frederick is currently working on a master's programme at Birmingham School of Art and will be taking part in the store's free four-day Live and Loud festival - situated on Level 1.

Having recently obtained a first class honours degree, Frederick's work encompasses ideas surrounding gesture.

He said: "The work I will be showing at Selfridges is a good opportunity to test ideas in a more public space, being away from the usual art spaces in Birmingham.

"It will provide another context to see art and how it can relate to people."

The event runs from Thursday through to Sunday.
