THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between September 28 and October 2:

James Scott Manson, aged 30, of Claycroft Place, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items, worth £204.92, from stores in Brierley Hill between September 7 and 11. He must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and pay compensation of £104.92, a victim surcharge of £60 and £280 court costs.

Roy Edward Wood, aged 65, of Hawne Lane, Halesowen, was fined £270 for drink driving in Tipton on September 12. When tested, he had 66mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 46 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £285 court costs.

Mark Anthony Williams, aged 47, of Himley Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 28 days for stealing items, worth £10, from Poundland, Dudley, on September 26, while subject to a conditional discharge. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Safeer Mohammed, aged 29, of Himley Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 24 months, for drink driving in Dudley on August 3. When tested, he had 44mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 40 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £235 court costs.

John James Reed, aged 60, of Green Field Avenue, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Brierley Hill on August 22. When tested, he had 106mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 26 months and must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £150 court costs.

Benjamin Timmins, aged 26, of Sudeley Gardens, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 24 months, for assaulting a woman and causing £300 worth of damage to two cars in Gornal on August 1. He must pay compensation of £400, a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Craig Anthony Booth, aged 38, of Kirby Drive, Lower Gornal, was given a 12 month community order for taking a van without the permission of the owner and driving without a licence or insurance, in Dudley, on April 21. He was also sentenced for stealing a sat nav, worth £150, in Sedgley on July 17. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was given six penalty points and must pay compensation of £150, a £60 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.

Hashed Abdulla Kaid, aged 29, of Olive Lane, Halesowen, was fined £240 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Lye on July 22 and 23. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on September 23, having been released on bail. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

Martin Bunn, aged 36, of Newark Road, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for threatening a person with a syringe needle in Cradley Heath on July 18 and stealing items, worth £34.97, from stores in Cradley Heath and Netherton on July 18 and September 7. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Sandwell Magistrates Court on August 4, having been released on bail. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £280 court costs.

Brian Andrew Withers, aged 42, of Woodcroft Close, Old Hill, was fined £80 for driving without a licence or insurance and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence in Warley on August 13. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £150 court costs.

Paul Philip Collins, aged 35, of Fox Foot Drive, Brierley Hill, was fined £60 for speeding in Birmingham on January 22. He was given three penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £80 court costs.

Kieran Ashley Russell, aged 24, of Smallshire Way, Wordsley, was fined £165 for drink driving in Wolverhampton on August 27. When tested, he had 83mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

John Edward Davis, aged 49, of Round Hill, Sedgley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Lye on February 7 and in Dudley between July 25 and 28. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £370 court costs.

Aivars Kozlovskis, aged 33, of Prospect Row, Dudley, was sent to prison for 24 weeks for assaulting a woman in Dudley on May 2 and stealing a jacket, worth £69.99, from TK Maxx, Brierley Hill, on September 15. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £820 court costs.

Shane Steven Stanton, aged 29, of Marigold Crescent, Wrens Nest, was fined £120 for driving while disqualified, without an MOT or insurance, in Dudley on October 1. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

Andrew John Cooper, aged 32, of Breamore Crescent, Dudley, was fined £450 for possessing crack cocaine and cannabis and driving without insurance in Brierley Hill on September 15. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £45 and £265 court costs.

Kurt Bache, aged 23, of Summer Lane, Lower Gornal, was fined £350 for driving without insurance in Gornal on August 4. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £235 court costs.
