A BRAVE cancer sufferer will now get his holiday wish come true thanks to generous Brierley Hill youngsters.

More than £400 was raised for Kaine Kitson, 11, who has spinal cancer, during a recent party held at the MSA Dance Academy.

Kaine’s family will now use the money to take the courageous youngster on a trip to the seaside.

Michelle Fowler, who runs the Delph Road-based academy and organised the Easter party, said: “Kaine’s little sister Kacey-Jo comes to my dance school, but she stopped coming.

“I then found out that it was because her brother was having chemo at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and after we opened our new studio, one of the other parents asked if there was anything we could do to help raise some money for the family.”

The Easter party for the children of the dance school, as well as the local community, ended up making £413.03 which has since been donated to Kaine’s family.

Michelle added: “The Easter party, which involved a number of party games, was a lovely day and a great success. Everyone was so generous in their donations, with each of the children taking home a bag of goodies.

“I asked Kaine’s mum what they would want the money for and she said that he wanted to go to the seaside as the family hadn’t had a holiday in a while, so it was great that we were able to help him get his wish.”
