DRESSED to Kill - the world's longest-running tribute to American glam rockers KISS - are set to make a final return to The River Rooms in Stourbridge this week.

The band, who are saying farewell to the UK club circuit, will be playing for the last time at the Mill Race Lane venue on Friday May 27 - bringing to an end 16 years of playing at the venue.

Bandmates - Ash 'Paul Stanley' Brookes from the Wirral, Gary 'Gene Simmons' Piears-Banton from Surrey, Danny 'Ace/Tommy' James from Lincolnshire and Matt 'Eric Carr' from Gwent plan to focus on festival appearances and one-off performances as they turn their attentions to their families and other musical projects.

They've promised a fitting set list for their final outing in Stourbridge including all the hits and classics both die-hard fans or newbies would expect to see performed.

The band - one of the first on the UK tribute scene - formed in 1990 through a KISS fanzine and have played across Europe, Scandinavia and in Japan during their 26-year career.

They have even been joined onstage by various members and ex-members of the real band - including guitarists Mark St John and Bruce Kulick, and drummers Peter Criss and Eric Singer.

They've also enjoyed appearances on MTV, Channel 4’s ‘Gene Simmons: Rock School’ and the BBC’s One Show - and a string of rave reviews over the years including one that described as "better than KISS'.

The River Rooms gig will be a two-plus hours outing of non-stop rock 'n' roll.

Tickets are available online at http://www.theriverrooms.com or by calling the venue on 01384 397177 or 07986 577661.
