STOURBRIDGE is among the top ten most expensive towns to live in outside southern England, according to a new survey.
The Halifax House Price per Square Metre Survey examined the movement of house prices on an average price per square metre in 279 UK towns - and half of the ten most expensive areas (outside of the southern part of the country) were found to be in the West Midlands.
Stourbridge makes it into the top ten with an average price of £1,943 per square metre - with Solihull listed as the most expensive with an average price of £2,661 per square metre, compared to the national average of £2,216 per square metre.
