Comedy show aims to raise cash and smiles
STOURBRIDGE’S A Comedy Theatre group is hoping to raise a smile and cash for a good cause when it stages its latest show.
The Norton based group, which has been going for six years, is presenting Lots of Stuff Wot We Wrote at the Elton Centre, St John’s Road, Stourbridge, on Saturday October 1 to help raise funds for Age Concern Stourbridge and Halesowen.
Group leader Phill Liptrot has put together the show which is a series of sketches, jokes and routes – and he said: “It’s my little homage to Morecambe and Wise.”
The show starts at 7pm and tickets cost £3.
