A BLACK Country author is set to talk about his trilogy of medieval-themed books at Dudley Archives and Local History Centre.
Robert Aston has spent the last three years writing ‘Jack O’Beans’, ‘Jack O’Knaves and ‘Jack O’War’.
The latter tells the story of how Jack becomes an archer at Dudley Castle.
Robert uses old Middle English throughout the book, which is thought to be closely associated with Black Country dialect.
Thurday's (June 1) talk begins at 7.30pm and refreshments will be served from 7pm.
Admission is free to Friends of Dudley Archives and Local History Service and £2 for non-members.
