ARTIST and jewellery-maker Gilly Page is back at Kinver Library during the school holidays to run her popular craft workshops.

Children of primary school age can get creative at the Vicarage Drive venue during a series of Friday morning sessions.

Gilly said: “There’ll be plenty of scope to let imaginations run riot with a wide assortment of found objects and craft supplies, and you'll end up with lovely works of art to treasure.”

The sessions kick off on Friday (July 28), with a summer fun festival crowns and headdresses workshop, while August 4 will offer youngsters a chance to make their own dream catchers from recycled fabrics, ribbons, feathers and buttons.

On August 11 children can learn how to make a patchwork picture wall hanging, before the final session on August 18 where they can make their own special little book of pictures.

Each workshop, where all materials will be provided, runs from 10am until noon and costs £5 per child.
