A NEW healthy lifestyle service will be launched in Dudley town centre this weekend.

Wellness coaches from the Let’s Get Healthy, the borough's healthy lifestyle service, will be in Market Place on Saturday (August 12) from 10am to 4pm, offering free health assessments.

There will also be an opportunity to sign up for additional support, including wellness coaching, one-to-one sessions, cook4life courses and slimming groups.

Coaches will also be telling people about the fun and friendly exercise and physical activity opportunities around the borough.

Councillor Peter Miller, Dudley's cabinet member for health, said: “The new Let’s Get Healthy service aims to inspire, encourage and support the people of the borough to get healthy.

“The launch event on Saturday is set to be lots of fun, with the wellness coaches offering individual advice and signposting people to a range of free services which can help them to live healthier, more active, more connected lifestyles.”
