A CAR flipped onto its roof in a crash in Hunnington, near Halesowen, just before midnight on Friday night (November 17).

Fire crews from Haden Cross and Bromsgrove were alerted at 11.56pm to reports of a man trapped in the car.

But on arrival at the scene, in Bromsgrove Road, he was found to have freed himself from the vehicle and was being tended to by paramedics.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We had a call from the police to reports of a car on its roof.

“One ambulance attended and we treated a male for minor hand injuries. The patient didn’t want to go to hospital so he was discharged at the scene.”
