RACING legend Carl Fogarty will give his support to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity for the third time as he gets set to lead the 2018 Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival.

The former World Superbike champion will be joined by motorcycle and truck racing legend Steve Parrish in heading up the Lye-based charity’s annual ride out on April 22.

Carl said: “It’s a brilliant atmosphere leading over 3,000 bikers, with crowds of people lining the roads to wave you on, not to mention the thousands of people there to greet you at the festival.

“This will be my third Bike4Life Ride Out, and I can’t wait to support this fantastic charity again.”

In 2017, the event – which raises awareness of biker safety and funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity – raised almost £74,000.

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director at the charity, says: “We have sold over 800 tickets for the ride out since booking went live in October, so we expect to sell out well before the event.

“Tickets are also available in advance for the festival at RAF Cosford, where people can enjoy the arrival of the ride out and the incredible biking event atmosphere, with live displays, music, food and entertainment.”
