TALENTED singers from a Cradley school choir took home one of the top prizes at Merry Hill shopping centre’s ‘Young Voices’ competition.
Young choristers from Cradley CofE Primary School took part in the competition earlier in December, winning the ‘Best Performance’ title and a prize of £1,000.
The children sang five songs, which included several two-part harmonies and also an accompaniment by one of the pupils on the flute.
Kay Wilkes, school teacher, leads the choir with support by Karen Nash and Alison Bills.
Marcia Harris, headteacher, said: “We are all extremely pleased and proud of our children. School were supported by lots of parents who came to cheer the children along, making it a very special event.”
