THE force will be with a Kingswinford supermarket when it hosts a silent charity auction next month.

Morrisons Kingswinford is giving customers the chance to win life-sized cut outs of popular Stars Wars characters, with all the takings set to go to children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent - the supermarket's charity partner.

Store community champion Helen Nicholls said: "We had the release of Star Wars The Last Jedi on DVD and received these full sized cardboard cut outs to promote it, so we came up with the idea for a silent auction."

Fans of the popular movie series are invited to try and get their hands on a Red Guard, Chewbacca, a Stormtrooper and BB-8 by visiting the store and placing bids for the auction.

The highest bidders will be able to take their favourite film characters home with them after the auction ends on Star Wars Day - May 4th.
