A 72-YEAR-OLD was fined £60 for riding a bike whilst unfit through drink or drugs.

Terence Neil Eynon, of Greenfields Road, Kingswinford, committed the offence on May 31 when he was cycling along High Street, Kingswinford.

He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

The following also appeared before Dudley Magistrates between June 12 and 15:

Daniel Lee Parkes, aged 26, of Colley Lane, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for six months for causing £200 worth of damage to a car in Halesowen on June 11. He must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Michael Francis Wynne, aged 55, of Wrights Lane, Cradley Heath, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for drink driving in Blackheath on June 1. When tested, he had 123mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He must carry out 180 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for two years. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Steven Lee Ross, aged 24, of Fisher Road, Oldbury, was fined £100 for stealing a jacket, worth £65, from JD Sports, Smethwick, on June 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

Ian James Rollinson, aged 25, of Pleasant View, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for stealing fragrance and three pairs of sunglasses, worth £309.96, from TK Maxx, Brierley Hill on June 14. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Jason Barry Smallwood, aged 41, of Highfield Lane, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a headset, worth £40, in Halesowen on April 4. He must pay compensation of £40, a victim surcharge of £20 and £150 court costs.

Dean Anthony Dutton, aged 23, of Sheadwell Drive, Milking Bank, was fined £60 for failing to attend an initial assessment to establish whether he was dependent upon or had a propensity to misuse a class A drug, in Brierley Hill on May 15. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.
