Paula brings an extensive knowledge of the health service after working for more than 17 years for the NHS, including 10 years at chief executive level.
She is currently chief executive of Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she has worked since 2005.
In addition to her chief executive roles, Paula’s career has spanned a wide range of areas within the NHS, including primary care, the ambulance service, a health authority and a number of acute hospital trusts.
Speaking about her new appointment, Paula said:”I am absolutely delighted to be joining the Trust in the autumn and I look forward to continuing to build on the success of the hospitals.”
