A BRIELEY Hill man has been warned he faces time behind bars after he admitted a string of burglaries.
Lee Hampton, aged 33, pleaded guilty to burgling a house in Ridge Street, Wollaston and stealing an Audi motor car and a number of electrical items.
Hampton also admitted burgling a house in Brook Street, Wall Heath and stealing a Honda Civic car and a Mercedes car together with other property.
At Wolverhampton Crown Court he also admitted burgling a house in Barnett Green, Kingswinford and stealing electrical items and jewellery.
Hampton further pleaded guilty to burgling a house in Hope Street. Wordsley and stealing two flat screen TV's, a Saab car, a computer and other property.
He finally admitted burgling another house in Hamilton Drive, Wordsley and stealing property including a watch, a wallet and £455 in cash.
Earlier today (Thursday July 9), Samantha Powis, defending, told the court Hampton had acted as a look-out on the raids having been put under pressure by another man.
Recorder Roderick Potter remanded Hampton, of York Avenue, Hawbush, in custody until July 23 for a pre-sentence report.
The Recorder said: “It is inevitable the sentence will be custody and you must prepare yourself to go away.”
