A JAPANESE woman living in Stourbridge has organised a fundraising concert to raise money to help a kindergarten in tsunami stricken Fukushima in Japan.
The event, organised by Kumiko Ohashi, will be held at Elmfield School, Love Lane, Oldswinford, on Saturday December 3 at 7.30pm.
Adrian Freedman will be playing traditional Japanese music, youngsters and adults will be singing both Japanese and English songs and there will be homemade Japanese refreshments available.
Money raised will help to relocate a kindergarten, near the ailing Fukushima nuclear power plant, which has been operating amid growing fears of contamination since the March 11 disaster.
