Council award cash to Dudley groups

A VARIETY of groups across Dudley have benefited from funding from a council committee.
As part of the Capital Allocations pot, Central Dudley Area Committee awarded Sledmere Community Association £3,000 towards improvements to the floor as well the installation of two hot water boilers.
Meanwhile Netherton Central Tenants and Residents Association, was awarded £1,309.93 to purchase computer equipment and youngsters at Meadow Road Youth Centre will also gain new gym equipment, following a £664.88 grant.
Councillors also approved a £3,000 grant towards the cost of refurbishing the floor within the Counselling Centre at Dudley Christian Fellowship.
