Man arrested following nightclub shooting

A 22 YEAR-old man has been arrested following a shooting in a Dudley town nightclub.

The man was arrested in a vehicle in West Bromwich last night in connection with the incident at Hustlers nightclub in King Street.

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting, which took place in the early hours of Saturday June 23, when a 28 year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his upper arm.

DI Gary Dring from Force CID said: "Investigations are ongoing and we are following up a number of lines of enquiry. We would like to re-appeal for people who were in the nightclub in the early hours of that Saturday morning to come forward. We believe there were lots of people at the scene when this incident took place and we are very keen to speak to them still.
