For the past week, I’ve been on a work placement at King Edward VI College in Stourbridge, gaining some insight into the career of teaching. Being a teacher is a possibility for me, so I thought getting some hands on experience within the sector would be vital. Conducting unpaid and voluntary work also looks great on your CV.

Sell by dates on fruit and vegetables

I recently came across an article which talked about the sell by date of packaged fresh fruit and vegetables and how so many top supermarkets throw away vast amounts on a regular basis. One of the greatest things in m life of which I'm most thankful, yet most modest to mention in my life is how much I appreciate and am grateful for such wide group of friendly, loving and caring family and friends that I am blessed with - at no time can I feel the truth of this other than at my Birthday. On reflection I think that I have had a very lucky life to know such awesome people, to of been offered such a rich variety of opportunities, and for the position that I am in now, as well as thinking about what the future holds in store, and what I can achieve. But for now; It's My Birthday

RT investigates...

Heaths do have colour if you look closely enough

A WALK out onto the heaths around Kidderminster may feel like a strange place to look for the first signs of the arrival of spring’s bright colours, as superficially, heaths at this time of year look pretty bleak.
