A HARTLEBURY holdings firm ended 2014 on a high after posting the highest profits in its 35-year history.

DRP celebrated the end of year with their Christmas conference held at its Droitwich Road head office, after achieving gross profit of £8.3 million.

At the event, themed as Santa’s workshop, highlights from the company’s year were showcased for all 155 staff members to see.

Dale Parmenter, chief executive, also launched the businesses aims for the coming year, including an ambitious plan for growth.

“2014 has been challenging and a very busy year,” he said.

“We made acquisitions, re-branded, launched new services, increased team numbers and invested in our facilities.

“It’s brilliant. We’ve been able to achieve an increase in GP, despite a drop in turnover, we’ve been focusing on efficiencies and offering value, so our strategy has clearly worked.

The company also recognised its top performers with the Brilliance Awards, with the Sainsbury’s account team winning team of the year and Ryan Curtis, of marketing, winning team member of the year as well as a trip to New York.
