A BROMSGROVE accountancy firm has secured funding to expand its business into two new offices, in a move that will provide additional jobs in the area.

Adderley Hill & Co, set up in 2013 by husband and wife team Stephen Adderley and Felicity Adderley-Hill, have secured the funding from the Worcestershire Business Loan Fund.

The company, based at Mulberry House, aim to move into bigger office space, hire four additional staff members and finalise the purchase of a second practice.

Stephen Adderley, director of Adderley Hill & Co, said: "Both my wife and I are very ambitious people and have always wanted to run our own business.

"We have a growing client portfolio, so we decided it was the right time to invest in the growth of the company."

The Worcestershire Business Loan Fund supports viable small businesses that are based within the county, offering loans from £10,000 to £50,000.

The £2.2 million scheme was introduced by Worcestershire County Council and BCRS Business Loans to support growing local businesses.

The Chief Executive of BCRS Business Loans, Paul Kalinauckas, said: "We are delighted to be able to support enthusiastic and ambitious entrepreneurs with their exciting plans for Adderley Hill & Co.

"We understand how important small businesses are in strengthening our local economy and believe that no viable business should go unsupported."

Councillor Ken Pollock, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy, Skills and Infrastructure, added: "Stephen and Felicity are great ambassadors for small business.

"It's always fantastic to see people following their growth ambitions and with the loan from BCRS, it has helped them achieve their aspirations, while taking on new staff members and moving into new premises.

"This is at the heart of what we do, with the council being committed to being 'Open for Business' and supporting the prosperity of the county."
