Redditch supply chain firm spreads Irish butter company link

SUPPLY chain specialist, Oakland International, has been selected to work in partnership with County Limerick operator, Glenstal Foods, to extend distribution of Glenstal butter following its successful retail trial.

Oakland, of Redditch, has stored, picked and distributed the new Glenstal butter under the trial since the beginning of April.

Based in Murroe and specialising in retail, food service and manufacturing, Glenstal Foods sources and supplies high end dairy products and ingredients to the Irish dairy food industry.

Oakland’s general manager, Richard Hill, said: “We are delighted to be working with, and supporting, a new Irish product break into the dairy marketplace and from such an established Irish company as Glenstal Foods.”
