Fatherless Barn Church 60+ group held their first meeting after the Easter break on Tuesday April 8 at the usual time of 1pm.

Because of the wintery weather we had a nice hot lunch of cheese and potato pie with tomatoes and ham followed by gooseberry crumble or cherry cobbler.

Gwen Hadley was the speaker this week.

Known to many of the group for a number of years she is always a favourite.

The last meeting was on April 9 and the speakers were Les and Jane from Birmingham Nature Reserve.
