Rabbits, chicks and eggs were the inspiration as Halesowen toddlers got into the Easter spirit.

Youngsters at Merryvale nursery, on Merrivale Road, were asked to design their own Easter bonnets to show off in a parade.

The contest was judged by staff from the nearby Stag and Three Horseshoes pub, with Easter eggs the prize for the winners.

Deputy manager at the nursery, Michelle Colwell, said: "We have been really impressed with some of the designs and the children had a lot of fun."
