Half term fun at Halesowen school

YEAR seven students went back to school during last week’s half term for an activity programme full of weird and frightful entertainment in Halesowen.

The workshops were held at Leasowes High School's Greenhill campus and included workshops featuring snot making, pumpkin exploding and gunge tanking along with a visit to the Dudley Zoo and Castle.

Students also had the chance to challenge themselves to stay on the pumpkin rider, a giant mechanicall pumpkin that imitates a rodeo bull ride.

Leasowes mentoring services manager Chris Bennett said: " At Leasowes we are committed to providing support to our young people beyond the school timetable. This programme engages our year seven pupils in fun and positive activities as well as providing opportunities for our older students to volunteer over the half term period."
