THEATREGOERS are promised a ghoulish giggle when they go along to a panto being staged by Halesowen based Open Door.

The drama company is shoeing Dracula - The Vampire Strikes Back at Earls High, on Friday February 8 and Saturday February 9.

The show tells the story of Sapphi, a vampire slayer who, with the help of her mother Coco and her father Van Helsing, aims to defeat count Dracula and find his treasure.

They are hindered by the inept detective Sheerluck Holmes and his assistant PC World, the bizarre Dr. Renfield and his love-lorn girlfriend Lucy, drippy Jonathan Harker and lots of barmy bats.

Open Door was formerly known as nac Theatre Company and formed in 2003.

The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £4 and £5.
