A KNIFE-wielding robber who terrified three teenagers on buses during a 30-minute crime spree has been jailed.
Karl Williams, aged 23, threatened two boys, aged 15 and 16, with a kitchen knife, saying they would “get it” if they failed to hand over their property.
He then boarded another bus and threatened a 17-year-old boy with the knife, forcing him to hand over his mobile phone, ipod and cash.
Williams, of Neith Place, Dudley, admitted three robberies and possessing an offensive weapon. He was jailed for three years and four months at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
At the same hearing, a 22-year-old man, of no fixed address, was jailed for four years and nine months for breaking the arm of a Tipton woman as he tried to rob her of jewellery worth £400.
Shaun Bayley, and an accomplice Daniel Bradley, aged 18, of Bristnall Hall Lane, Oldbury, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to rob.
Bradley, who was a juvenile at the time of the robbery in January 2011, was given a one year rehabilitation order and a six month curfew.
Bayley, also admitted robbing a 17-year-old boy of his mobile phone on a bus which he boarded at Dudley.
The court was told the three men were linked to the crimes by a fourth defendant who had appeared before another court.
