ST PAUL’S Church in Blackheath is holding a Last Night of the Proms event next month which will feature a Dad’s Army tribute.
The event on Saturday, September 21, will also include the Dudley Salvation Army Band and singers Slick Six.
Graham Roberts, from the Long Lane church, said: “It will be a fabulous music and fun filled evening and the audience will have their chance to raise the roof by joining in with the prom classics.”
“So we are urging people to come prepared with hats, flags, whistles and horns.”
He added: “We are all looking forward to seeing the Dad’s Army sketch too because the sitcom is still popular after all these years.”
The St Paul’s Church Last Night of the Proms concert will begin at 7pm on Saturday, September 21 and admission is free.
