Cradley Heath pervert had sexual interest in young boys, court heard

SICKENING indecent photgraphs of children were downloaded by a Cradley Heath pervert with a sexual interest in young boys, a court heard.
But Mark Troop, aged 40, escaped a prison sentence when he admitted four counts of the offence at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Judge Martin Walsh said: "The gravity of these offences is that the images show real abuse to children."
But he added it was to his credit that the photographs had not been distributed and ruled It was in the best interests of the public for him to receive assistance and treatment to stop further offending.
He he was placed on supervision for 36 months with a condition he attends the sexual offenders’ group programme and made the subject of a 10-year sexual offenders protection order.Troop must also register as a sex offender for five years.
Police armed with a warrant forced their way into Troop's Archer Gardens home and seized a laptop containing the images, said Alka Brigue, prosecuting.
She said Troop had downloaded 42 indecent photographs including a number at level four - the second worst category - and when questioned he told police he had a sexual interest in young boys aged between 10 and 15.
Troop also admitted he had talked in an internet chatroom with others about you boys while maintaining he found it difficult to express his sexual preferences.
