The free to attend weigh in at the Wolverhampton Road hotel will see 18 fighters on hit the scales for the It’s-A-Bout-Boxing’s Friday 13th bill at The Institute in Birmingham.
Dudley’s Ryan Aston will be among the fighters hoping to hit the desired weight for his clash against Josef Obeslo.
It’s-A-Bout-Boxing promoter Marcus Anderson-Hitchen, who is the grandson of renowned Oldbury trainer Lesley Anderson, invited fight fans to the weigh-in.
He said: “The weigh-ins to big fights are like a stag do before the wedding and there is always drama, tension and excitement.
“Weigh-ins usually crackle with excitement because it is the last time the boxers come face to face before they get in the ring and fans can make their mind up who has worked the harder to be in the best condition.”
The weigh-in starts at 2pm at The Ramada, Wolverhampton Road, and is free to attend.
