The following appeared in Dudley Magistrates Court between October 7-11:

Luke Hughes-Roberts, aged 22 of Islington, Halesowen, was sent to prison for seven days for possessing diamorphine in Halesowen on July 4.

Martin Adrian Heath, aged 43, of High Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing a microwave oven from Next, Brierley Hill on September 19. He must pay compensation of £68 and £85 court costs.

Matthew John Marsh, aged 28, of Dudley Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £110 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for drink driving in Brierley Hill on August 2. When tested, he had 119mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mlgs. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Akash Sunil, aged 18, of Long Lane, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for allowing himself to be carried in a car that had been taken without the owner’s consent, in Halesowen on May 20. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £675 court costs.

Nicholas Truman, aged 23, of Campbell Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 16 weeks and disqualified from driving for 18 months, for drink driving in Kingswinford on October 13, 2012. When tested, he had 67mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving the vehicle without the owner’s consent and driving without a licence or insurance and failing to stop when required to do so by a police officer in uniform.

Warren Kenneth Harper, aged 29, of Severn Road, Lye, was fined £50 for having an air rifle in a public place, namely Mucklow Hill, Halesowen, on August 31. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Philip Royston Hyett, aged 40, of Queensway, Wollescote, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £600 worth of damage to a car in Stourbridge on July 14. He was ordered to pay compensation of £600, a victim surcharge of £15 and £250 court costs.

Justin Batley, aged 35, of Albrighton Road, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing Olay skin products, worth £121.52, from Wilkinsons, Halesowen, on August 12. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Leroy Anthony Parke, aged 35, of Cole Street, Netherton, was given a four month community order for assaulting a woman in Netherton on May 26. He will be electronically tagged for four months and during that time, must stay at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Steven Christopher Murphy, aged 40, of Harebell Crescent, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for causing £700 worth of damage to two cars in Dudley on July 11. He must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay compensation of £165, a victim surcharge of £60 and £350 court costs.

David Barry Ball, aged 39, of Maple Way, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £400 worth of damage to door in Dudley on August 5. He was ordered to pay compensation of £400, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Josh Haywood, aged 18, of Round Hill, Sedgley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Sedgley on August 4. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Michael John Hickie, aged 65 of Doverdale Close, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Halesowen on January 11. He must pay compensation of £3,000 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Ian Stuart Rollinson, aged 41, of Pleasant View, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months for being the owner of a dog, which was dangerously out of control in Dudley on July 16 and injured a man. He was also charged for entering Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, when he was prohibited from doing so by an anti-social behaviour order on July 16. The dog will be re-homed by West Midlands Police and he is disqualified from owning a dog for five years. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Marty Smith, aged 30, of Darby End Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a police officer in Dudley on August 14. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Gavin Sean Finch, aged 40, of Caslon Crescent, Norton, was sent to prison for 20 weeks for stealing food items and a candle, worth £6.69 on August 15 and three jars of coffee, worth £15, on September 13 from Co-op, Stourbridge. He was also sentenced for stealing three bottles of whiskey, worth £74.97 from the same store on October 8. All offences were committed while he was subject to a suspended sentence.

Shaun Troath, aged 24, of Gill Street, Netherton, was fined £200 for driving a car in Netherton on August 30 without insurance, when he was disqualified from driving. He was given six penalty points and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.
