FLOWER arrangers have raised more than £1,500 for the Midlands Air Ambulance this year at their Halesowen club.
The town’s flower club members support charities each year, raising money with activities such as book, card and refreshment sales, charity evenings, plant sales and its popular Mothering Sunday flower arrangement sales in the Cornbow Shopping Centre.
Their chosen charity for next year is the Dudley-based White House Cancer Support.
the club’s next meeting is on Thursday November 14 in the Shenstone Theatre, Halesowen Library at 7.30pm when Margaret Rumens will give a Christmas themed demonstration .
Club member Sheila Brookes said: “Visitors are always welcome. The entrance fee is £4.50.”
