Table top sale in Blackheath
5:00pm Saturday 26th October 2013 in Local
A CHARITY table top sale is being held in Blackheath on Saturday (November 2) to raise money for research into the crippling disease, arthritis.
It is being held in the Church Hall, Vicarage Road, from 10am until noon by the Blackheath and Halesowen branch of Arthritis Research UK and refreshments will be available.
The small organising committee is also planning a Christmas Fair at the hall on the afternoon of Saturday November 30.
Branch spokeswoman Pat Taylor said: “Fundraising for research into arthritis is so important as all ages suffer from this crippling disease. It is not always appreciated that juvenile idiopathic arthritis affects around 15,000 children and young people in the UK,and causes pain, disability, fatigue and long term joint damage.”
