CRICKET ace Halesowen College student Hamza Ahmed was “bowled over” to be selected for the Under 19 Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
Hamza has been playing cricket since he was three and from the age of 10 played for Old Hill Cricket Club and Worcestershire County Cricket Club from 13.
The 17-year-old A-level student is the youngest member of the squad and went through three trials to be selected.
He said: “I was absolutely delighted to be chosen for the squad. It was nerve wracking going through the trials but I’m really pleased to have got through.”
