EMERGENCY ambulance services are so far unaffected by the crisis at the A&E department at Russells Hall Hospital.
The hospital is currently reporting unprecedented demand at its emergency room and staff are urging people to stay away unless their condition is life threatening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service says at the moment they are operating as normal and still able to take patients to the medical centre as usual.
A spokesman from West Midland Ambulance Service said: “We are not affected at the moment and are continuing to monitor the situation.”
