AN 82-YEAR-OLD woman can put the pedal to the metal for the next year for free after winning a Quinton car dealership's competition.
June Cosnett drove away in the new Mitsubishi Mirage after being entered into a prize draw for taking the car for a test drive with Acorn Mitsubishi in Hagley Road West.
The grandmother-of-13 said: “I’m thrilled to bits. I love the car and it’s just the right size for me to get out and about and park. It’s good on fuel so I’m really pleased – it’s a lovely gift.”
And June can bun up the road safe in the knowledge that the Mirage has low emissions it’s the most environmentally friendly car in its class.
