AN enterprising group of children at a Halesowen school have shown how big-hearted they are by making Valentines gifts to sell for charity.
The four year six pupils at Lapal Primary School made £300 for the British Heart Foundation with their stall which they ran at break times.
They made heart cushions, bracelets, clay models, cards, bookmarks, love heart biscuits, cakes, badges and hanging hearts.
School administrator Rachael Jones said: “It was all their own idea.
“They have worked extremely hard since the Christmas holidays, all in their own time, and created a stock of over a hundred items “We are extremely proud of the children.”
