The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between February 10-14:

Nathan Marsh, aged 25, of Vicarage Road, Upper Gornal, was fined £600 for drink driving in Upper Gornal on January 5. When tested, he had 76mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance. Marsh was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and £85 court costs.

Jamie Edwards, aged 25, of Dean Close, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a man in Stourbridge on November 16. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Mark Hewitt, aged 33, of Manor Lane, Norton, was given a 12 month community order for causing between £400 and £500 worth of damage to a scooter and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Wollaston on August 9 and interfering with a motor vehicle in Brierley Hill on August 23. He was ordered to pay compensation of £687.39.

Andrew David Reynolds, aged 30, of Hartlebury Road, Oldbury, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months for dishonestly using electricity, to the value of £1,028.49, without authority, in Halesowen between April and November last year. He was ordered to pay compensation of £1,028.49, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Lee Roberts, aged 34, of The Ross, Blackheath, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a man and woman in Halesowen on January 1. He was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £350, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Mark John Bilsby, aged 49, of Naggersfield Road, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing alcohol, worth around £11.74, from stores in Stourbridge between January 11 and February 5 while subject to a community order. He was also sentenced for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour that caused a person to that violence would be used against them in Stourbridge on December 18. The offence was racially aggravated. He was given a 12 weeks curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Declan Jordan Oliver Thomas Breakwell, aged 22, of Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a police officer, leading them to believe that violence would be used against them and caused £94.43 worth of damage to a police vehicle in Stourbridge on November 2. He was ordered to pay compensation of £94.43, a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Matthew Blizzard, aged 31, of King Street, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for six months for interfering with a motor vehicle in Halesowen, on January 28. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Sarah Jayne Plowman, aged 30, of Long Innage, Halesowen, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting three police officers in Halesowen and Dudley on November 9. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £250 court costs.

Mitchell Dean Scriven, aged 26, of Bradfield Way, Dudley, was fined £200 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Andrew Charles Brown, aged 40, of Parish Gardens, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for harassing a woman in Stourbridge between March 1 and April 30, 2013. He must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £250 court costs.

Paul Ian Kendrick, aged 56, of Wallace Close, Oldbury, was fined £110 for drink driving in Stourbridge on December 7. When tested he had 100mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Sharon Amanda Anslow, aged 33, of St Peters Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £1,000 of damage to a shop window in Dudley on December 1. She was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.
