Traffic lights flattened by police car after smash in Sedgley

A ROAD in Sedgley was closed this afternoon following a crash involving a police car.

The collision took place in Bilston Street and involved the police vehicle a another private car.

Noone was hurt but a set of traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing was flattened after being hit by the police car, diversions were put in place around the scene of the incident between School Street and High Street.

The road was reopened just before 5pm.
