A BRAVE Halesowen father is having his legs and chest waxed to raise money for charity.
Gavin Winsper is having both his legs and chest waxed at the Hasbury Inn, Hagley Road, on Saturday, May 17 at 3pm.
He said: "My daughter was stillborn at 38 weeks so I am doing the charity event at the Hasbury Inn Pub in Halesowen for the stillborn and neonatal charity Sands.
"I have already raised nearly £500 for the event as I am having both full legs waxed and chest in the pub in front of all the people who have sponsored me."
He added: "The charity is close to my heart and they do not get the credit they deserve."
Sands supports those affected by the death of a baby and works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care as well as funding research.
