The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between May 12 and 16:

Lucy Southall, aged 31, of Leabank Road, Netherton, was given an eight week community order for stealing a purse containing £250 in Stourbridge on January 18. She was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 8pm and 7am. She was ordered to pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Michael Joseph Carless, aged 70, of Meridan Close, Wollaston, was fined £400 for drink driving in Kingswinford on April 16. When tested he had 98mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £85 court costs.

Michael Daniel Collins, aged 36, of Field Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing a bottle of Southern Comfort, worth £18, and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty, in Dudley on April 11. He was ordered to carry out 50 hours on unpaid work and pay compensation of £18, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Scott Andrew Harris, aged 27, of Turney Road, Stourbridge, was fined £300 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on April 20. When tested he had 67mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Luke Paul Mills, aged 21, of Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for assaulting a woman and breaching a restraining order in Brierley Hill on May 1, while subject to a suspended sentence.

Christopher Dion Bill, aged 18, of Lister Road, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for driving dangerously, without a licence or insurance, in Dudley on March 27. He was disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

William Junior Gamble, aged 25, of Swan Lane, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for six months for taking a conveyance van without the consent of the owner and stealing goods of unknown value in Dudley on December 2 and breaching an anti-social behaviour order on December 12 and March 28, while subject to a suspended sentence.

Rebecca Jones, aged 33, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing three bottles of Disarrano, worth £48, from Tesco, Dudley on May 13. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Becky Leanne Cook, aged 30, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was given a 12 week community order for stealing a top, worth £3, from Peacocks, Dudley, on April 17. She was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Josie Flynn, aged 31, of Jasmine Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing nappies and powder baby milk products, worth £28, from Wilkinson’s, Dudley, on April 1. She was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She was ordered to pay compensation of £14, a victim surcharge of £60 and £47.50 court costs.

Margaret Angela Flynn, aged 27, of Jasmine Road, Dudley, was fined £50 for stealing nappies and powder baby milk products, worth £28, from Wilkinson’s, Dudley, on April 1. She was ordered to pay compensation of £14, a victim surcharge of £20 and £47.50 court costs.

Ian Matthew Marsh, aged 44, of Hellier Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for producing 17 cannabis plants in Dudley on April 1. He was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Tyrone Colin Payne, aged 26, of Queen Street, Pensnett, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing wine, worth £10, from Iceland, Dudley and assaulting a man in Dudley on December 11 and stealing wine, worth £1.75, from Asda, Dudley on May 14, while subject to a community order. He was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Mark Royston Barry Tinsley, aged 32, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing tinned food, worth £20.70, from B&M, Brierley Hill, on January 23 and stealing cheese and corned beef, worth £65.10, from B&M, Dudley, on January 12 and 23. He was ordered to pay compensation of £85.80 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Kayleigh Sinceymeleur Talbot, aged 26, of Farm Road, Netherton, was fined £100 for assaulting a man in Dudley on December 21. She was ordered to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £20 and £620 court costs.

Kieran Ball, aged 21, of Evers Street, Quarry Bank, was given a 12 month community order for resisting a police officer in the execution of her duty and causing another police officer harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, in Stourbridge on January 26. He was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £80, a victim surcharge of £60 and £620 court costs.

Luke John Moore, aged 26, of Leys Crescent, Brierley Hill, was given an 18 month community order for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on February 15. He was given a six month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 9.30pm and 6am. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £200 court costs.

David Johnas Whilby, aged 44, of Olive Lane, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, in Halesowen, on September 27, 2013. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £620 court costs.
