LIVE music is coming to a Cradley Heath park with the annual Opportunity Rocks gig.
Haden Hill House Museum and Park will host the showcase designed to give young bands a singers a chance to play live on Sunday July 20.
Jane Hanney, museums services manager said: “It is a great way for teenagers who may have only played in their parents’ garage or at school festivals a chance to play live in front of an audience and build up their confidence.
“Some of the bands and singers who have played have more experience – it’s a real mixture but the idea is that it is local talent given a chance to show off.”
Visitors are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy the entertainment with bands and singers performing covers versions and original work between noon and 6pm.
There are still a few places left for performers and anyone interested in taking part should email Sandwell Museums on museumarts_tourism@sandwell.gov.uk.
