A COFFEE concert featuring Schubert classics is set to strike a chord with audiences at Halesowen’s parish church on Saturday (September 13).
Members of the St John’s congregation will perform piano and vocal pieces by the maestro from 10.15am.
There will also be a talk by retired Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examiner Malcolm Drummond, from Worcester.
Free coffee and cake will be available and there will be no entry charge, although the collection plate will be passed round for donations.
The Birmingham Canoldir Male Choir will be in concert at the church on Saturday September 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £8 and £6 for children under 16, are available by ringing 0121 501 2443 or from the Traidpoint shop in the church.
