A MURDER is going down in Halesowen next week.

Halesowen Library will be the set of a special Victorian themed murder mystery evening on Wednesday September 17 when doors open at 6.30pm.

The evening titled ‘Who killed George Hargrave’ by award winning crime novelist Martin Edwards will challenge visitors to test their investigation skills as they attempt to identify who killed George.

The evening will take place in the Shenstone Theatre on level 7 in the library from 7-9pm.

Councillor Hilary Bills, cabinet member responsible for libraries, said: “Crime fiction is one of the most popular genres with readers, so I’m sure this event will be a big hit with our visitors. For those crime novel fans, they can now discover who done it in real life.”

Tickets including refreshments cost £3. People can call 01384 812980 for tickets.
