REPLACEMENT committee members have come forward to help revive Halesowen Carnival after the plan hit a setback when key personnel quit just weeks after their appointment.
Chairman Simon Walker said he was “pleased” to have new volunteers and was looking forward to the next meeting on Saturday November 1 when he hopes more plans will be finalised.
He is spearheading a bid to hold a carnival at Huntingtree Park and street parade next summer for the first time since 1987.
