BLACKHEATH-based social business, the Black Country Housing Group is celebrating after scooping a national award.

The organisation has being named Kaleidoscope Plus’ Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year after beating off tough competition from across the UK.

The award was presented in recognition of BCHG’s commitment to investing in the health and wellbeing of its employees.

In supporting our colleagues’ wellbeing we’re working to create a happy and engaged workforce, which in turn helps us to deliver excellent customer service to local people across the Black Country and Birmingham.”

Kaleidoscope Plus Group, Chief Executive, Monica Shafaq added: “I would like to congratulate Carrie and everyone associated with Black Country Housing Group (BCHG) on winning our inaugural Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year Award.

“The competition was strong but for us they were the standout nomination when it came to demonstrating a comprehensive committed approach to investing in the health and wellbeing of their employees.

“There is no doubt in our mind BCHG go above and beyond in ensuring the health and wellbeing of their workforce is paramount and hopefully winning this award will go some way to them getting the credit they fully deserve.”
