A DISTRAUGHT mother has made a heartfelt plea for her daughter to return to her Cradley Heath home amid fears for her safety.

Eighteen-year-old Beata Koguciuk was last seen on Sunday November 2 just six days after being reunited with her family after disappearing for a month.

The teenager, who came from Poland with her mother Ewa and two sisters, aged 29 and 21, eight years ago, has not been in touch with family or friends.

Mrs Koguciuk does not speak much English, but her middle daughter, also called Ewa, said they feared for her safety and welfare.

Missing persons’ posters have been circulated to bus garages by the family as part of their frantic search for the former Stourbridge College student.

Miss Koguciuk said: “We cannot understand what is happening to Beata and we fear for her safety.

“Please, someone help us – we appeal to her to come home and for anyone who knows where she is to let us know.”

Police found Beata in Westminster, London, on Monday October 27 and after a month of worry, her mother and uncle brought her home.

But Miss Koguciuk said within hours her sister became anxious and after a brief spell in Russells Hall Hospital was reported missing again to police, who spoke to her in Dudley town centre on Thursday October 30.

But Sargeant Richard Youds, from Sandwell Police, said: “The officers spoke to her and assessed her and were satisfied she was safe and well, able to look after herself and did not want to return home.”

However, the family have refused to give up their search.

Her mother found Beata on November 2 in Dudley and urged her to take money, food and warm clothes, but she refused, and has not been seen since.

Sgt Youds said Beata was an adult and officers had no cause to detain her when they spoke to her in Dudley.

Bu he added: “The family remains concerned as to Beata’s whereabouts and she has again been reported as a missing person.

“If anyone has any information regarding her whereabouts then can they please contact Sandwell Police on 101.”
