PARENTS can keep their young ones occupied this Easter at Halesowen Leisure Centre.

The centre’s pools will host its popular aqua run with fun inflatables and obstacles on Thursday April 2, Tuesday 7 and Thursday, April 9.

There will also be pool play mat sessions on Friday, April 3, Monday 6 and Friday, April 10

The pool sessions run at 1.30pm and 3pm on the dates listed and cost £3.80 for adults and £2.40 for the under 16s.

Youngsters visiting the centre can take advantage of the centre’s £7 for seven days deal, which includes access to all the fun pool sessions as well as squash, table tennis and public swimming.

Juniors under the age of 16 can also get a 50 per cent discount on a casual no booking in advance basis for table tennis and squash.

John Millar, acting strategic director for environment, economy and housing, said: “Dudley Council offers a wide variety of activities in our leisure centres museums and nature reserves to help keep young people occupied during the school holidays.”

A 50 per cent discount is available for all activities with an Options+ leisure discount card.

Due to essential maintenance the centre’s main pool will be closed from 9.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 1.

Entry will be stopped 30 minutes prior to closing on early and lunch time sessions. Clubs will not be affected and the learner pool will remain fully open throughout the works.
