AMBITIOUS plans for Halesowen’s historic Walled Garden will be outlined at the spring meeting of The Friends of the Leasowes.
Hales Owen Abbey Trust, which bought the dilapidated site from Birmingham Metropolitan College, is undertaking an extensive makeover of the garden in Leasowes Park to restore it to its 18th century glory.
Trust secretary Mick Freer and his wife Carole will highlight progress and further plans at next Wednesday’s meeting, (April 22) at The Shenstone Club, Kent Road, at 7.15pm Tickets are £1 each with proceeds going to the garden refurbishment, and all are welcome.
